Who Invented the iPad?

You could argue that things like the iPad don't get invented by one person; they're a corporate product, with many different people involved in various aspects of their creation.

For example, the major credit for designing the iPad (as well as the iMac, iPod and iPhone) goes to Apple's English–born Chief Design Officer, Jonathan Ive.

But few would doubt that Steve Jobs was the man with the vision to create all of these gadgets. And the inclusion of the word "entrepreneur" in the question should have been enough to steer contestants towards him as the answer.

A website called who–invented–the agrees: "The name of the person credited with inventing the iPad is Steve Jobs (1955 – 2011). Steve Jobs is not only famous as the American inventor of the iPad but also as a businessman, entrepreneur and industrial designer and the co–founder of Apple Computers."
